Patagonia reckons the ideal uses for this fine shirt, the Men’s Brushed Vitaliti Polo Shirt ($65) include “pre-dawn coffee runs, farmers’ market and everyday running around.” We think that sounds perfect. Their version of the classic piqué-knit polo, a versatile garment indeed, is made from a 5.45-oz 47% organic cotton/39% Tencel®/14%, a special blend that means this shirt will work as hard as its wearer.
Patagonia and Organic Cotton: Environmentally Conscious

Patagonia produces its organic cotton through the use of techniques that are environmentally safe and healthy; likewise, for those who work and live near the fields where the cotton is grown. The company boasts that they never grow their organic cotton with synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or defoliants, nor is it genetically modified in any way. The Polyester fiber material is both recycled and recyclable, a blend of “used soda bottles, unusable second quality fabrics and worn out garments.”
Find this Patagonia shirt under Style No. 54440; it’s blended fabric makes this hard to wrinkle polo activity-friendly.
