Ludacris Vs. Tommy Lee in Battleground Earth
The Discovery Network and its new offshoot Planet Green have signed on Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and rapper Chris “Ludacris” Bridges in their new reality show, Battleground Earth.

Ten episodes are planned for production, with the show premiering in late July or early August. The company is rebranding its Discovery Home network as Planet Green, which will debut on June 4.

Al Gore Launches “We” Campaign Al Gore has begun an immense PR campaign from his Alliance for Climate Protection (ACP) in an effort to call attention to the need to change policies regarding climate change. The “we” campaign is a three-year $300 million movement aimed at shifting public opinion over the urgency of global warming and the fact that “we” can overcome it.

Artist Maya Lin Creates Memorial For Environment

Zero-Emissions Goals Reduced in California
Automakers will be relieved to hear that California has adjusted its goal to cut the number of zero-emissions vehicles on the road by 2014. Environmentalists are not so happy about the decision.
The new rules reduced the number of cars using electric and hydrogen fuel-cell technology that need to be on the road to 7,500, a 70 percent cut from five years ago.
Lexus Tops Luxury Eco-Friendly Vehicles List
Forbes Auto came up with a list of both luxury and non-luxury vehicles that emit the least pollutants in the atmosphere. Each model is based on their Air Pollution Score and Carbon Footprint rating, using EPA standards.

On March 29, twenty-six major cities globally will turn off the lights on major landmarks in an effort to raise global warming awareness during Earth Hour.
